About Frock Shop

YOU ARE MAGIC

Frock Shop was started by Selina Stanford in 2019 after taking a break from her law career to raise her 3 girls. She felt a strong pull to go back to work and show her daughters what a little hustle and hard work can achieve.

She always had a love of fashion and design, and when she realized there wasn’t a convenient location in the Memorial area to shop unique brands and beautiful, ready-to-wear pieces, she decided it was time to fill that gap. The first 9 months of Frock Shop was operated directly out of her home as a pop up serving the immediate neighborhoods around her. Once March of 2020 rolled around, her business model had to shift, so she dared greatly and opened up her brick and mortar.

On any given day you can find 3 generations shopping together and friends meeting for a spell to catch up on the happenings of life. The energy in the shop is pure LOVE from the moment the lights turn on to the second we close. The Frock Shop team believes a little bit of magic happens when people connect, and we love getting to see our customers connect each day. We strive to make our customers feel seen and loved, and an important part of their Houston community.
